A TripAdvisorâ„¢ TripWow slideshow of a travel blog to Sydney, Australia by TravelPod blogger Mattersdorff titled "We still call Australia home" Mattersdorff's travel blog entry: "if only travelpod had a 'parental' lock facility... that way Kirilee and I could truly express how much we miss Sydney without giving our parents the idea we might actually be contemplating moving back home sooner rather than later. the truth is that we aren't ready to call time on our overseas adventures (and by that I mean living abroad, not this trip) but the allure of returning to a life in Sydney has certainly been rekindled by a glorious 3 weeks back home. in that time, we had the pleasure of re-experiencing so many of Sydney's splendours such as a ferry ride from Manly to Circular Quay, golf on the northern beaches, absolutely glorious weather, sumptuous food, divine beaches and generally just having a great time hanging out with family and friends. I don't want to say it was like we were visiting Sydney for the first time but perhaps because we have grown up a bit in the 5 years since we moved to London and obviously seen much more of the world, for the first time we could fully appreciate how amazing a country Australia is in which to live. We always knew that, it was just cool to actually be back in the thick of it.
